Product Overview - Flexible Porous Paving

Sidewalk Improvement Project, Lower Main Street, Bridgton, ME

Flexible Porous Paving is an innovative, sustainable, porous paving system, made from blending recycled tire crumb and crushed stone with a urethane binding agent.  It offers many advantages when compared to traditional paving materials such as concrete, asphalt, bricks and pavers. The flexible characteristics of the material helps prevent sidewalk and pavement cracking from tree roots. By eliminating cracks and uneven surfaces Flexible Porous Paving can significantly reduce trip hazards.

It is available in six popular earth tone colors with custom color options on request to match your preference and architectural specifications.  Flexible Porous Paving materials are mixed at the job site, poured in place and installed by skilled Northeast Porous Paving personnel. Our crews will typically install 15-20 tree surrounds per day or 1500 sq. ft. for a trail, pathway or sidewalk application.

Northeast Porous Paving offers its customers a comprehensive turnkey service. We will visit your site, evaluate if Flexible Porous Paving is the right solution for your particular application, offer a free test patch for evaluation purposes and then supply materials and install the product at your project location. Please note; ambient temperature and inclement weather can effect the installation. Northeast Porous Paving generally schedules installations in Maine, New Hampshire and Massachusetts from April 1 - November 30.
